The GEA is a very 'loose' organisation. It has a website and a mailing list.
Those who register on the mailing list will receive an e-mail at the beginning of a month with the events calendar for the month, and also the occasional e-mail during the month about an event that was planned at short notice after the calendar was sent out.
The events are of course also published in our online events calendar on this website and can be downloaded as a pdf file.

The GEA has no membership as such; a 'member' is anyone who subscribes to our mailing list. We have no membership dues. Therefore, we have no money. And, needless to say, we have no office or building. We do everything from our computers at home.

We don’t actually organise events as such. What we organise is a visit to an event that has already been organised and is taking place in Munich or vicinity.
An event is always suggested by a member ('the organiser') who is interested in that event and will be attending it. We then enter it into the calendar. Our events are open to everyone, 'member' or not.
