There will be an outdoors Summer Garden Party at the New York Corner Café.
Catering by Maggie Banatte and Thilo Schuster.

We will open the garden to accommodate the GEA members along with their friends and family willing to participate.

We offer a grilling menu with various fares for the meat lovers and also the vegetarians. For the local beer lovers and also for those willing to adventure and taste something different. We will even expand our imports to include a beer that is neither American nor German for those in need of reminiscing.

On the menu:
  • NY Burgers & the works (€5,90), Big Hot dogs (€3,50), Spareribs plus one side dish of choice (€9,90), Buffalo wings (€4,50), Sweet Corn on the cob (€3), Shrimp skewers plus one side dish of choice (€8,90), Chicken breast plus one side dish of choice (€7,90), Pork steaks plus one side dish of choice (€6,90)
    American Steak grilled to order plus one side dish of choice (€13,90)
Side Dishes:
  • Portion mixed green salad (€3,50), Portion tabouleh/couscous salad, (€4,50) Portion coleslaw (€3,50), Potato salad (€3,50).
At the Bar:
  • Local beers:
    Unertl Original Weißbier 0,5l & Unertl non-alcoholic 0,5l (€3,50),
    Helles: Tegernseer or Becks 0,33l (€3), Augustiner Edelstoff 0,33l (€3), Lammsbräu Bio non-alcoholic 0,33l (€3).
  • Imported beers:
    Brooklyn Lager, East Indian Pale, Sam Adams & Rolling Rock 0,355l (€4,50)
    Newcastle Brown Ale 0,55l (€4,50).
  • Imported Soft Drinks:
    Root Beer, Canada Dry, Dr Pepper, Vanilla & Cherry Coke, Mountain Dew, Lemonade (€2,50)
  • Fruit Juices, wine and fruit juice schorle, coke, Fanta, Orangina.
  • Also:
    Various cocktails including Maggie's famous Rhum Cocktail (€6,50), Hugos (€4,50), Prosecco €3), Red & White Wine 0,2l (€3,50)
Desserts:
  • Homemade Brownies, Banana cake, Muffins, seasonal fruit cakes and also our delicious New York cheesecake (between 3€ and €3,90)
  • Coffee, espresso, cappuccino, Latte macchiatto, lungo, tea, chai latte, ice coffee (between €1,80 & € 4,50).

To get to New York Corner Café:
  • By train (north-bound U3):
    Go to Petuelring and walk back south on the left of the road, or
    go to Scheidplatz and walk across the Luitpold park - past the school, past the restaurant "La Villa" and it is at the end of the road;
    in my opinion a more pleasant walk though it takes 2 minutes longer.
  • By car:
    its North on Schleißheimerstr. until you see the field on your right; park in Bamberger Straße.
