Meriel Moravcik †

Unfortunately, we need to inform you that our long time member Meriel Moravcik has passed away at only 54 years of age. It was cancer which she had to fight for quite some time.
Meriel was one of the quiet type, yet friendly and well liked during walks, dinners and visits to the Rechthaler Hof. In recent years, her partial Spanish background was reason for visiting the Tertulia whenever possible.
She is survived by her brother who lives in Spain and a couple of distant relatives. On June 14th her ashes were placed to those of her parents under a beautiful oaktree in Nordfriedhof.
May she rest in peace.

John Langton recommends a visit to the 4th Kunstareal-Fest 2019:
"The 4th Kunstareal-Fest takes place on the 13th and 14th of July 2019. All institutions in the Kunstareal invite to an extraordinary experience for young and old. There is a varied and comprehensive program with 140 events for residents of Munich and for visitors from all over the world.
The 4th Kunstareal-Fest is hosted by the Förderkreis Kunstareal München, organized by the Geschäftsstelle Kunstareal München and the Stiftung Pinakothek der Moderne, financed by the Landeshauptstadt München, the Freistaat Bayern, and partners and sponsors.
This makes it possible that there will be free entry to all museums and institutions in the Kunstareal for this occasion.
